CpG-free SEAP

Synthetic SEAP reporter gene in expression plasmid

ABOUT

Synthetic SEAP reporter gene in expression plasmid

InvivoGen provides an optimized SEAP reporter gene that is entirely free of CpG motifs.

Secreted embryonic alkaline phosphatase (SEAP) is widely used to study promoter activity or gene expression. SEAP is secreted into cell culture supernatant and therefore offers many advantages over intracellular reporters.

It allows to determine reporter activity without disturbing the cells, does not require the preparation of cell lysates and can be used for kinetic studies.

SEAP activity that can be readily assessed qualitatively and quantitatively using HEK-Blue™ Detection or QUANTI-Blue™ Solution

The CpG-free SEAP gene is provided in the expression plasmid pSelect-zeo which is selectable with Zeocin® in both mammalian and E.coli cells.

All products are for research use only, and not for human or veterinary use.
