ABOUT
Fc-fusion SEAP expression plasmid - Human IgG2
pFUSE-SEAP-hG2-Fc is a cloning plasmid for generation SEAP-Fc fusion protein. SEAP is a secreted form of human embryonic alkaline phosphatase.
The Fc region of human IgG2 comprises the CH2 and CH3 domains of the IgG2 heavy chain and the hinge region.
The hinge serves as a flexible spacer between the two parts of the Fc-Fusion protein, allowing each part of the molecule to function independently.
Human IgG2 dispays low ADCC and CDC.
pFUSE-SEAP-hG2-Fc allows the production of SEAP-human IgG2-Fc fusion proteins.
This plasmid can be used to make recombinant SEAP-Fc fusion proteins or used as a transfection control in experiments with other pFUSE-Fc constructs.
Quantification of SEAP-Fc expression can be determined using QUANTI-Blue™.
