Anti-human PD-L1 - Atezolizumab biosimilar - CAS #1380723-44-3
Anti-hPD-L1-hIgG1 (N298A) is a biosimilar antibody of the clinical antibody Atezolizumab targeting the human programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1). Atezolizumab (also known as MPDL3280A), a fully humanized IgG1 (N298A) mAb that blocks the interaction of PD-L1 with PD-1 and induces anti-tumor immune reactivation, has been approved by the FDA for combinational use in the treatment of lung and breast cancer. Interestingly, it binds both human and mouse PD-L1.
Anti-hPD-L1-hIgG1 (N298A) comprises the variable region of Atezolizumab and the IgG1 (N298A) constant region of Atezolizumab for low/no effector functions.
This antibody can be used together with the cellular PD-1/PD-L1 assay (Bio-IC™) for screening and antagonist assays to disrupt the inhibitory interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1.
