RIG-I DN: Dominant negative RIG-I (also called RIG-IC)
Dominant negative RIG-I (RIG-IC) was generated by removing the two caspase recruitment domains (CARD) found at the N terminus (aa1-217). Expression of RIG-IC in L929 cells was shown to inhibit virus-induced gene expression [1].
