Gasdermin domain-containing protein 1.
The ORF is fused to three Flag epitope tags (DYKDHD-G-DYKDHDI- DYKDDDDK) at the 3’end that allows for convenient purification and detection of recombinant proteins. The Flag3x-tag is hydrophilic and relatively small (22 amino acids) therefore the risk of altering protein function or decreasing solubility is minimized. Detection of fusion proteins containing Flag3x is greatly enhanced compared to other systems [1].
