Expression-ready ORF Clones
Alias : MB21D1, CGAS
Cyclic-GMP/AMP synthase.
Mab-21 domain containing 1.
cGAS::HA3x :
The cGAS gene has been fused at the 3'end to the influenza hemaglutinine (HA) tag. This short sequence (YPYDVPDYA) encodes a peptide which is the epitope of a very efficient and specific monoclonal antibody. The use of HA-tagged genes provides a simple and convenient method to detect the expression of the genes by Western blot.
Loss of function cGAS mutants :
Two point mutations have been introduced in cGAS: G212A and S213A. These mutations in residues of the NTase active site abolish the activity of full-length cGAS [1,2].
