SARM1

Sterile alpha and TIR motif containing 1

Expression-ready ORF Clones

Alias : SAMD2, SARM

Sterile alpha and TIR motif containing 1.

SARM1 is a putative new adaptor [1], described in 2001 as sterile alpha and HEAT-Armadillo motifs. SARM contains a TIR domain, two sterile a motif (SAM) and an Armadillo repeat motif (ARM) [2]. Both motifs are known to be involved in protein-protein interactions promoting the formation of diverse protein complexes.
